how does on balance volume in forex trading work as an indicator?
Q. someone help who knows statistics. How can one trade on it and not get confused with different periods of time the calculation is based upon.

A. Balance volume in the Forex works the same as moving averages. As trading volume in a particular currency increases, the trend is that the currency will increase further. A. This "depression" isn't nearly as bad as the recession we had in the late 1970's and early 1980's. Take a ride around town tonight. Look at the restaurant parking lots. Consumer confidence is up. The unemployment situation is improving. No soup lines, no investors jumping out windows, no runs on banks, no dust bowl, no massive immigration to different parts of the country. Comparing this crisis to the great depression is similar to comparing the "War on Terrorism" to WWII. It's hyperbole. "FDR never ran a deficit nearly as large as President Obama s."
